Installing with an existing NixOS configuration

Hello! Great job on this configuration - it looks really nice.

I’ve just started using NixOS, and I currently have an existing setup (for now it’s a standard one, without flakes or home-manager) located at /etc/nixos/configuration.nix. It already includes a number of installed packages, a configured PostgreSQL setup, and so on. GNOME is also being used as the desktop environment.

How can I install and use your dotfiles without losing my current configuration? I would really appreciate any guidance on this, and also any recommended resources for learning how NixOS works in more depth.
