Click on red shut down button -> sometimes nothing happens! #13539

Bug description
Sometimes after clicking on the red shotdown button in the mint startmenu nothing happens! No further dialog (for selecting wheter to shut down, restart or standby) appears!
(I can go in standby with a keyboard press key combination; so the command seems to work; must be a cinnamon issue!)
If i restart cinnamon, the problem is gone and i can shutdown/restart/standby.
I use standby always, perhaps there the problem can be located?
Steps to reproduce
Use mint with standby (and wake up), wait a while; go in standby again; wake up again and after some time the problem seem to come!
Expected behavior
Shutdown/Restart/Standby options-dialog always appears after clicking on the red shutdown button in the linux mint startmenu!
