Unable to open fcitx5/fcitx in cinnamon-menus

Sytem: Linux Mint 21.3, Cinnamon

Hi,

I have noticed that it's unable to use or open fcitx5 in cinnamon-menus. When I try to press control and space to open the input method, the cursor will stop flashing but nothing will happen. There may be something wrong.
