Merging this PR will cause a minor version bump for the apl-tools image (to v2.8.0). You would need to create a new PR to use that image as base for the apl-core image.
An alternative would be to set the version to v2.8.0, wait for the apl-tools pipeline to finish and push the new image, and retrigger the apl-core pipeline(which should fail on the first attempt).
