Zooming in on one of the demo scenes causes infinite loop (os x & linux)

When viewing the demo and zooming in very wide, at some point the browser window gets "stuck" (or freezes). Reproducible in nearly every scene.

I tested this on linux fedora 44 with an amd gpu and on os x with a macbook pro -> same behavior
