Support name translations

For Asian gamers, they are probably more familiar with translated game name. Or some simply like the original Japanese characters showing in play list.

No idea. I don't how No-Intro manage their data. I will try to contact them for opinions.

For example in iQue, we have an “alternate” field (no ideograms for this title, but could be there).
Users can export the datfile with the alternate:

What we don’t offer is BOTH “standard” and “alternative” data in datfile. Datfile is not a database…
Anyway, we have very few “alternative” fields filled, it’s something that takes a lot of time and we don’t have so many collaborators.
It could be cool if libretro, that bases its data on NoIntro, suggests to people to come and collaborate (not only with “alternative” but with naming and datting in general).

I can help to add the feature to their database system. If possible, RetroArch can link to No-Intro website, encourage users to contribute to the database, which doesn't require much computer knowledge.

That's really cool. Unsure how it would work in the RDBs, but it sounds very promising for No-Intro. Let's keep this issue open to keep the convo going.

Still not sure what kind of system No-Intro uses. If it is an open source system, I can help to develop such a feature for it. However, if it is close source system, it is hard for collaboration between projects and invite more contributors.
