[feature idea] message retry when weak signal

would it be possible to add a weak signal message retry feature?
for example i am trying to send messages back and forth from two nodes that are far away and going thru 3hops each time. the signal is weak so it works only some of the time. i am currently searching for a client that has the posibility to automatically retry sending messages. as it is now we have to manually type it again or copy/paste. its a pain.

i think it should be only applied to private targeted messages.
