I've recently stumbled upon a freeze like that with ncurses frontend too.
Lem froze on several occasions rendering markdown files in ncurses/terminal.
I didn't investigate the details, but just throwing it here for a future someone.
E.g. it may not be completely sitting inside webview.
The WebView client freezes after mere seconds of inactivity and has to be brought back by reloading the client. Is it possible for some sort of heartbeat to be implemented so that a broken connection between Lem and Webview can be detected and fixed?
