[Feature Request] Delivery schedule for Bundles

One of the greatest features of Inbox IMO was the ability to keep the inbox timely by hiding all the non-time-sensitive bundles until e.g. 6pm, and then they'd appear in the inbox for triage. I believe this was called appear in inbox

Shortwave has a similar feature called Delivery Schedules, but is also laden with unwanted AI distractions and doesn't work well with Gmail natively.

I'm wondering if it's feasible for Simplify to emulate this behavior, either by selectively pausing new mail based on Bundle, or hiding the Bundle in the inbox until the set time, or auto-snoozing emails, or something like that. This feature would include "minimizing" the labels in the sidebar, as those are distracting as well.

I'm really bad at predicting when something will get done but this is definitely something I plan to do.

I've got a number of big things in front of this on my to do list including basically rebuilding bundles because of some changes Gmail made (and to improve performance). I'll set a reminder to ping you when I get to it.

P.S., I'm less sure about hiding labels in the nav.

Google Inbox did not hide the label in the nav nor did it hide it the bundle in the inbox -- it just didn't let new messages bump it further up in your inbox until the scheduled time.

Forgive me, it's been so long that I forgot what the UI looked like! I do remember not being distracted by numbers in the nav, so I might have just had them collapsed. Thanks for the clarification!

No worries at all! It was a long time ago. I do have an option to hide unread counts in the nav and Gmail has options to hide labels (which I imagine you're familiar with).
