From my perspective, this is a pretty good high level overview of how our build system works - outlining what's created and for what, and some of the connections between the different repos. So, my review is essentially to say "this seems right" and I think having any perspective from @LianaHarris360 though in terms of "this is confusing/this makes sense" from someone who is less familiar would be really helpful.

I had Claude Code write most of this, then I mucked about with the order, collapsed repetitive sections, made it reclarify, then manually edited again to keep it concise and orderly.
Please read for clarity, comprehension, and most importantly if you still have important questions about the build system after reading!
