@driesvints 3.23.0 will be out in a sec to address this. I'd suggest to add a composer.json conflicts statement to prevent the incompatible release from being installed. In practice, I think the impact of this bug will be small, but still good to minimize the chances of it hitting people.

Version 3.23.0 is released.

Thanks @frankdejonge. I reverted this PR again. For now we're not going to add a conflict since people will just download 3.23.0 probably on a composer update.
