The MCP guide currently targets older protocol behavior and does not cover the user-facing additions in Laravel MCP 1.0. This updates the guide for protocol revision 2026-07-28, cache hints, searchable tool catalogs, MCP Apps extension discovery, and the revised client OAuth flow. It also refreshes the specification links and removes the obsolete server ping example.
