Issue Description

The dependency on github.com/dgrijalva/jwt-go introduces the following vulnerability: https://snyk.io/vuln/SNYK-GOLANG-GITHUBCOMDGRIJALVAJWTGO-596515. The fix is to upgrade the dependency to version 4.0.0-preview1.
