Provides detailed traffic analysis for selected road segments. Displays route lines color-coded by volume, a breakdown of travel purposes, and also highlights destinations.
- Route Lines: Draws lines indicating the routes that each agent will take, similar to the vanilla system but with color-coding to indicate volume, and it works in combination with the various filters.
- Filtering Options: Isolate one side of a two-way road, filter to specific travel purposes, or limit analysis based on agents' distance from the selected path.
- Destination Visualization: Highlights destination buildings.
- Travel Purpose Summary: View agent counts, grouped by their travel purpose (e.g., commuting, cargo delivery, etc).
- In addition to roads and pedestrian paths, you can analyze bus stops, subway stations, train stations, and ferry stops.
- When selecting a road you can exclude the pedestrians waiting at an attached bus stop, or analyze only the transit passengers. For stations, you can analyze each individual stop/platform, or all together.
Click the Traffic Spy icon, and then click a road/path segment, or a transit structure.
- Except at short distances, the routes of cims are not lane-specific.
- When analyzing an intersection, you can choose "Lane Data Only" to see only the routes of vehicles who have chosen specific lanes.
- Bikes count as vehicles.
