kompose response '[1] 77127 killed kompose' and does nothing

OS: macOS 10.12

I installed kompose with this guide:

# macOS
curl -L https://github.com/kubernetes/kompose/releases/download/v1.16.0/kompose-darwin-amd64 -o kompose

according to https://kubernetes.io/zh/docs/tasks/configure-pod-container/translate-compose-kubernetes/

maybe the reason is that I'm using an old macOS version?

fine, I got to release page and download the latest version of kompose, everything is ok now.
