[ci-cd] Ensure the repo follows working a CI/CD process

Since we now have a distinct repo for the app we will need to re-evaluate the way we will hanvle CI/CD for:

• Conintuously running unit tests on PRs
• Continuously running e2e tests on PRs
• Pushing new images after PRs
• Ensuring the manifests for the app are up to date
