Coverage

  • Run the suite under c8 in CI (node:test works fine with it), publish to Codecov or generate a badge.
  • The badge row currently lacks the conventional coverage badge.

Perf smoke

  • A lightweight CI check that runs 2-3 bench scenarios and fails on gross regression (e.g. >3x vs recorded baseline) — guards against accidentally deoptimizing the hot paths (megamorphic call sites, accidental string materialization).
  • Needs generous thresholds to stay green on noisy shared runners.
