Many methods are now deprecated and newer ones should be used, the README.md does not properly reflect this reality, and the examples don't either. As a result, I think it is necessary to update these in order to reflect the deprecation status of these methods, and not mislead more people using this library to think that they are valid uses.
Additionally, the README.md had formatting errors for the file structure and did not mention two methods that could be used.
This pull request fixes all of those issues and updates them. Please let me know if there would be anything you would like me to change, or if you are willing to update this repository with these changes.
