Receiver startup test sequence

Seeking some type of visual cue that a receiver has started up successfully, both the microchip and the radio. Perhaps flash all pixels (or 255 on and off on all DMX/Renard, Dumb RGB or Komblinkin) two or three times. The problem is that the user may forget to install the radio and if there were no flash perhaps that would help remind to install radio.
