v0.10.1 broken in HA 2025.1.0

@HoBPirE how are you running Home Assistant? Are you using Home Assistant OS, Docker, raw Python, ...?

Home Assistant OS on a Rasp5 - till the latest update everything was running fine.

There aren't any open updates and the iDM folder seems to be updated as well:

Do you still see the error "ModbusClientMixin.convert_from_registers() got an unexpected keyword argument 'word_order'" in the logs or now only the connection issues?

The connection issues may be a problem with your network. Can you still read values with the standard modbus integration? I assume you know how to set it up, since you posted the config in #75 (reply in thread)

Ah, seems I misread the Home Assistant code. Version 2025.1.0 still uses pymodbus 3.7, only the in-development 2025.2.0 will use 3.8. So for others it probably worked, because they don't use the modbus integration and installing this integration upgraded pymodbus to 3.8.3

In any case v0.10.3 now supports both pymodbus 3.7 and pymodbus 3.8.
