raspberry Pi 5 and 73Linux

i have been struggling with getting my Raspberry Pi 5 to play nice with 73Linux for several months.

I keep getting the following "critiacal" error

"gdk_x11-window_get_xid:'GDK_X11_WIINDOW (window)' failed

this shows up many, many times in the 73Linux loading.

I have asked for help several times (maybe in the wrong place) and have gotten no response... can someone help me get my ham radio apps working???

The error you see is a YAD error that can be ignored. Which version of 73Linux are you running? I thought this was resolved in #60

I have been looking to find the 73 linux version and can't find it. I am not even a noob with linux, but I’m trying to learn. Where do I find the 73linux version number? I just recently downloaded 73Linux from the web following the link in your website (I think). I’m not having much luck getting the ham apps to load and run. Bookworm does not use X11 by default.

Use "Sudo raspi-config" to change to X11.

For me this also fixed using NoMachine as my viewer for the Pi 5.
