Description

@Sirfanas

Versions

  • Python: 3
  • OS: Android
  • Kivy: 1.10.1
  • Cython: 0.29.7

Description

Try to open HTTPS Url
Failed with urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate
Actually happening on Async Image I use like that:

AsyncImage:
	source: 'https://i.goopics.net/27Odx.png'

Work perfectly on Windows, not on Android

#
#[app]

#    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
#    Profiles
#
# You can extend section / key with a profile
# For example, you want to deploy a demo version of your application without
# HD content. You could first change the title to add "(demo)" in the name
# and extend the excluded directories to remove the HD content.
#
#[app@demo]
#title = My Application (demo)
#
#[app:source.exclude_patterns@demo]
#images/hd/*
#
# Then, invoke the command line with the "demo" profile:
#
#buildozer --profile demo android debug

I actually found a """solution""" using:

import ssl
try:
    _create_unverified_https_context = ssl._create_unverified_context
except AttributeError:
    # Legacy Python that doesn't verify HTTPS certificates by default
    pass
else:
    # Handle target environment that doesn't support HTTPS verification
    ssl._create_default_https_context = _create_unverified_https_context

But using that in my main.py don't fix AsyncImage or any call in other py file

Any ideas ?
Thank's
