org-gcal-sync doesn't work on Windows 10

I was able to fetch the calendar by following instructions. I am also able to delete and add events to the google calendar by using org-gcal-post-at-point and org-gcal-detelete-at-point. However, when I edit the org file (i.e., adding new events with same format) or modify an event in the org file, it doesn't get reflected in the google calendar when I run org-gcal-sync.

I am using Windows 10 and Emacs 27. Am I missing something? Do I need to install additional packages?
