Hello! First off, thanks for the awesome work on MCView! It’s an incredibly useful tool for exploring Minecraft worlds. I wanted to suggest a feature that could make it even better: an option to export maps as SVG files. This would be a game-changer for people like me who want to print large, high-quality posters of their worlds or archive their memories. Since SVGs scale without losing detail, they’re perfect for this kind of thing.
Here’s why I think it would be great:
- High-res posters: SVG export means we could print maps at any size without worrying about pixelation, making it ideal for posters.
- Customization: Having the map in vector format would make it easy to edit in programs like Illustrator or Inkscape, so users could add labels or other design elements.
- Layer options: It would be cool if we could toggle layers (terrain, structures, markers, etc.) before exporting to customize what gets included.
I think this feature would add a lot of value to MCView and be really useful for the community. Thanks for considering it!
