kakitoru

Take a note using a template.

Usage

Take a simple note.

$ ./kakitoru -f /tmp/test.md create 
Press CTRL-D (^D) or send 'EOF' to terminate input...
This is the content of the note.

$ cat /tmp/test.md

Take a note with a comment and a custom header.

$ ./kakitoru -f /tmp/test.md create --comment 'This is a comment.' --header comment_usage --noprompt

$ head -5 /tmp/test.md
# comment_usage / Sat Jun 09 23:05:17 PDT 2018

* `comment:` This is a comment.

Take a note using stdin, but don't write to a file using dry-run mode.

$ /usr/games/fortune | ./kakitoru create --dryrun
# Sat Jun 09 23:11:40 PDT 2018

Take a note of URLs with a custom header, a comment, and don't prompt the user for input.

$ ./kakitoru -f /tmp/test.md create --header markdown --comment 'Markdown cheatsheet.' --urls https://help.github.com/articles/basic-writing-and-formatting-syntax https://guides.github.com/features/mastering-markdown --tags markdown github --noprompt

$ head -9 /tmp/test.md
