L2CAP errors on pixel 9a (CANARY)

Hello!
I can't seem to get librepods working on my pixel 9a running android canary (with KernelSU+ZygiskNext)

I tried the btl2capfix zip but it keeps failing with "L2CAP failed to create Bluetooth socket, no matching constructor". Rebooting Bluetooth break it completely and the airpods don't connect anymore

I tried collecting some logs

Side note, I also tried PR #449 (without the root module) and it does the same thing

Any reason why you particularly tried the btl2capfix? The latest versions work with xposed. Anyway, try these:

And, disable Unmount Modules for the Bluetooth app (com.android.bluetooth or com.google.android.bluetooth) and whitelist it from any root hiding module.

Thanks for the quick reply, surprised I didn't try unmounting the Bluetooth app, but it didn't change anything, same error.

I don't see the xposed hook running. Could you verify it's enabled, and try rebooting?

I also tried JingMatrix's LSPosed, the issue persists, i could try downgrading the OS, if needed.

downgrading shouldn't be necessary. what Android version are you on? I'm guessing A16 based on the bluetooth appid. A16 should work. could you list what root modules you have installed? perhaps there is something that blocks LSPosed from hooking the Bluetooth process.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't catch the mail, i'm on Android Canary, the rolling release for Pixel devices (no idea if it's closer to the android 17 beta, but i'd assume so honestly) , more specifically, i'm on ZP11.260123.011.
I have these root modules installed:

• Hybrid Mount
• AshReXcue - Bootloop Protector
• bindhosts
• Hosts Redirect (for bindhosts)
• Pixel Xpert
• PIF
• Tricky Store
• LSPosed IT
• Zygisk - SUI
• Zygisk Next

Note: i tried disabling Pixel Xpert as a test, no luck. Also all memory protections on ZN are disabled, so I don't think it's that. I could try forks of Zygisk.

I've been having the same issue with my Pixel 6 (A16) after updating to the March 2026 feature drop CP1A.260305.018, Mar 2026. v0.2.0-alpha pre-release worked fine before updating the OS.

I have LSPosed set up for LibrePods. KernelSU modules includes:

• Bluetooth L2CAP workaround for AirPods (v3)
• Play Integrity Fork
• Tricky Store
• LSPosed IT
• Zygisk Next

Notably, AirPods Pro 3 connects and plays if I force stop the LiberPods application (while leaving LSPosed and L2CAP modules enabled). It works fine as dumb headphone (as it should).

I'm happy to test. More information will be provided upon request. Thank you for developing and maintaining this project!

As a side note, I highly suspect Google changed internal structure or parameters of the BluetoothSocket class in A16 QPR3. However, afaik, we won't know for sure until Google publish the source in June with QPR4.
