I am doing my new App in Ionic Capacitor and backgroundmode works great in Android, but does not work in IOS. It appears Apple has removed the ability to just have a background app keep going as if it is in the foreground. If anyone has a fix, please let me know. If there is any way to update this plugin to work, that would of course be the best.

No,
Anyone else find a solution?
My assumption is I will have to rewrite my communications for IOS to use their library instead of generic code that can work on Android and IOS.
Withing 5 seconds of going in the background IOS kills my app.
Warmest Regards,
Andrew Lindzon
