• I had to rewrite the diffing as it did not find a lot of intra-line (or: symmetrical) changes. It also blocked Sublime for as long as
  whatever 🤷.

• I changed two defaults: ignore_whitespace to false because that's less unexpected, and line_count_popup also to false
  because that's less insane.

A lot of refactorings of course; hope everything works as before.
