Thank you for your work! Great project.

Could you please specify on which board and on which kernel version you tested your driver?
If it is not too much trouble, could you make a small guide on using your project with cameras on RPi board?

The board was Raspberry Pi 4. I'll have to check the kernel version, when I go home. I updated Raspbian to the latest packages.

I tried different Raspberri PI4 images, and driver compile successfully without errors only on 5.15 linux kernel version, because of difference in V4L2 implementation. If it will help somewone.

So, could you send small tutorial how to a activate .dtbo in overlay, witch camera was used, what v4l2-ctl commands did you use with that module, how to set differenct formats etc.

Also, could you please post the datasheet for tw9992 that you used to write the driver🙏?

I used 6.6 kernel.
Indeed it does not compile with 6.12. I'll try to fix this later this summer.

You can get the datasheet from Renesas web, but you need to register and apply to download it.

I was able to compile the driver with kernel version 6.12, there are indeed few edits. But tw9992 produces a black and white picture, do you know what this could be related to? What changes can be made to the internal registers or the driver itself?

There is now rpi-6.12.y branch for newer rpi os.
I added some text to README.

Test pattern v4l2-ctl -c test_pattern=0 does not work properly. It works sometimes, but mostly not.
