Coming Soon Builder Pro

CI License: MIT Vanilla JS

Design beautiful "coming soon" and launch-countdown landing pages — live preview, one-click standalone HTML export.

A focused, dependency-free builder that turns a few form fields into a polished, self-contained launch page: a real ticking countdown, working email capture with a built-in admin panel, animated backgrounds, and social links — all exported as a single HTML file you can drop anywhere.

Overview

Coming Soon Builder Pro is a single-page web app for spinning up a launch / pre-launch page in minutes. You edit on the left, watch a pixel-accurate browser-framed preview on the right, and export a fully standalone index.html — inline CSS and JS, no build step, no server, no tracking. The exported page keeps a working countdown, captures emails to localStorage, and ships a hidden subscriber dashboard at ?admin=1.

Everything runs locally. Open index.html from disk or host it on GitHub Pages — both work identically.

Features

  • Live preview inside a browser-frame mockup with a real <iframe srcdoc> — the countdown actually ticks as you edit (debounced re-render).
  • Four countdown styles — flip cards, clean boxes, minimal text, and animated progress rings, with optional unit labels.
  • Launch controls — datetime-local picker, visitor-local or fixed-UTC timezone, and a custom "Launched!" message shown at zero.
  • Email capture — toggle on/off, custom placeholder / button / success copy. Exported pages save subscribers to localStorage and expose a polished admin panel at ?admin=1 with CSV export. A live Subscribers: N badge shows the count in the builder.
  • Five backgrounds — animated gradient, mesh, particle stars, solid, and split — each with primary/secondary color pickers and a dark-overlay slider.
  • Social links — add/remove X, Instagram, GitHub, LinkedIn, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, or Website; rendered as a clean icon row.
  • Typography & style — modern system-ui, serif (Georgia), or mono font stacks (system fonts only), plus text and accent color controls.
  • Advanced — custom CSS, extra <head> HTML, and an emoji favicon.
  • Three template presets — Startup Dark, Agency Light, Minimal — plus a one-click realistic example.
  • Export & copy — download as index.html / coming-soon.html or copy the full source to your clipboard, with a source preview.
  • Premium UX — glassmorphism, dark/light themes, autosave, entrance animations, full keyboard support, and a responsive Edit/Preview layout that works down to 360px.

Installation

No dependencies, no build tooling.

git clone https://github.com/kasapdev/coming-soon-pro.git
cd coming-soon-pro
# then simply open index.html in your browser

Or just double-click index.html — it runs straight from file://.

Hosted version (GitHub Pages): https://kasapdev.github.io/coming-soon-pro/

Usage

  1. Pick a template (Startup Dark / Agency Light / Minimal) or hit Example for a fully populated starting point.
  2. Open the accordion panels and edit content, launch date, email capture, background, socials, typography, and advanced options — the preview updates as you type.
  3. Click Admin in the preview toolbar to test the ?admin=1 subscriber dashboard.
  4. Hit Export HTML to download your standalone page, or Copy HTML to grab the source.
  5. Deploy the exported file anywhere — GitHub Pages, Netlify, an S3 bucket, or your own server.

Your work autosaves to localStorage and is restored the next time you open the builder.
