Segmentation fault with Debian Bookworm and OpenSSL 3.0.17

rdkafka-ruby is experiencing segmentation faults when running on Debian Bookworm with OpenSSL 3.0.17. The application crashes consistently after running, similar to the issue reported in Prisma where the segfault was traced to the OpenSSL 3.0.17 upgrade.

What do we plan to do:

1. In the upcoming days I will enroll my full SSL test suite so it runs in prod
2. Will add bookworm into the CI pipeline and will try to force the new SSL and see what will happen
3. Will check how things behave even with new SSL but with librdkafka native precompiled with older openssl
4. Will postpone openssl update for precompiled if crashing

This issue has been fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.17-1~deb12u2 on Debian, please update your OpenSSL version if you are on 3.0.17-1~deb12u1
