The current
is_hiddenimplementation considers the pathpath/to/my/./file.txtto be hidden, while it's not. This PR fixes it by normalizing the paths prior to compute theis_hiddenlogic.Similar fix in
jupyter_serverjupyter-server/jupyter_server#886
