After installation i added two anchors manually to a site (with a bootstrap space template) - and nothing visible happend. Does the menu not automatic appear at the top of the site ?

Can You please give a usage instruction-example here ?

This plugin will not change the manin nav. It comes with a section type. You need to add (one or multiple) Anchor Nav section(s) to the content.
