My actual suggestion that I originally wanted to give also does not fit into a PR, but it was: perhaps you could add something about transform attributes. I bump into this often. For example i want to sweep a grid along a curve. I have the forward vector at each point and want to create transform attributes so the swept grid is aligned to the curve.
Elements of this are covered here http://www.toadstorm.com/blog/?p=493 (and might be worth crediting if you use it) but i feel a concise snippet would be valuable.
