Revamp the website home page

[Relequestual]

We've known for a LONG TIME that the website needs updating. Short of a full rewrite (which is on the cards for another time), we WOULD benefit from updating just the home page.

The home page should be a launchpad for our resources and community.
We should make sure it includes:

• The project's mission (if we can define one) #97
• Note and link to the regular working meetings #98
• Note and link to the Community Discussions #99
• Note and link to our slack server (the current link is small) #100
• State that we have a release process and we're currently in "phase X" #101
• A better quickstart guide #102
• A visual representation of what JSON Schema does #103
• Who's using JSON Schema / logos of companies website#235
• Table of contense

Happy to take additional suggestions.
