I'm working to see the forest for the trees...and there was a good bit of
undergrowth in the way.
This removes stuff that's not referenced anywhere and removes HTML comments
referencing script tags which were replaced with other script tags (or their
use was removed) sometime ago (> 5 years back in most cases).
