unwanted settings reset

when I make mac-native apps (e.g. finder, mail etc.) transparent, they turn back normal upon closing the respective window.

ok, next problem: I've restarted my computer, the app got uninstalled,
Do I have to build a startup-script with the respective commands?
Am I missing something?
I had installed it via macforge
