🎯 What: Added a unit test (
tests/test_benchmark_evidence_adequacy.py) for the standalonebenchmark_evidence_adequacy.pyscript to ensure it completes without error.📊 Coverage: The test covers the happy path of the
benchmark()function, mocking external dependencies (_load_profile,_profile_valid), system time (time.time()), and standard output (sys.stdout) to verify it executes the loop 1000 times and prints the correct timing message.✨ Result: Improved test coverage by establishing a deterministic, isolated test for a previously untested benchmark script, protecting it against regressions.
