[BUG] Search box overlays menu on mobile #1382

Describe the bug
The menu on mobile is obstructed when on a page that has the search box, such as the documents view.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Documents'
  2. Click on the hamburger button to open the menu
  3. Observe that the search box obstructs part of the menu

Expected behavior
Menu is on top of everything else when expanded.

@tribut Can you verify that this change fixes the problem and does not have undesired side effects?
