Provide direct Windows download in zip file

Can you please continue to provide direct Windows download in zip file as was available prior version 4?
Not everyone wants to deal with Windows store, it also might be broken on some Windows installations.

Do you have a suggestion for a different distribution channel? Maybe patreon?

I spent hundreds of hours on BikeControl, and with the 4.0 version being available I feel like the app finally has the looks and behavior that make it worth being a paid app only. I want to refrain from implementing any kind of in-app purchases or subscription model - and you'd still have the option to build yourself.

Ah, if you want to move to paid-only model - then it is your choice.
So far it was an open source project, so I had expected it to continue being available on GitHub with binaries ready for download.

And I think that if you don't want to provide binaries you could at least provide build instructions for people that don't want to use app stores.

I ignored this so far as the GitHub workflow is available, and in the end it's more or less flutter build :)

I tried it myself for windows with some AI assistance, because zero flutter experience and some issues with the translation (intl), so no clue if this is the perfect way to go, but it worked for me:

• install flutter SDK and "desktop development with C++" workload in VisualStudio setup
• cmd:
  flutter doctor (check if everything expect android toolchain is ready)

Do you know how to resolve ´Get-Item $realPath´ to work with AppData? Here they mentioned to use the flag -Force in Line 25 of rexolve_symlinks.ps1, but it fails again:

@bringler I managed to build it even though I had the same errors as you, with a few workarounds and a little help from AI since I don't know anything about Flutter

What I did :

• I followed the manual installation of Flutter (https://docs.flutter.dev/install/manual) and don't forget to add it to your PATH environment variable
• In Visual Studio Installer I installed the following

(The ATL libs are necessary I think because I got this error while building: error C1083: Impossible d'ouvrir le fichier include : 'atlstr.h' : No such file or directory)

• Then I installed rustup following @jonasbark's message, it's just a simple command prompt, so nothing complicated
• Optionally, if you are on a corporate network with strict SSL protections (that was my case), I ran this in the terminal:

$env:CMAKE_TLS_VERIFY=0
$env:CARGO_HTTP_CHECK_REVOKE="false"

Then I ran all of @franz134 commands

So I managed to successfully compile the code. Without any knowledge of what I was doing... :) I did it out of pure curiosity.

I also downloaded nuget.exe to the c:\windows\system32 folder.

I got one error, but the compilation completed and the program works.
