@jlongster please have a look at this plus the updated doc at https://github.com/joewalker/devtools.html#running-the-server-and-using-the-toolbox. I believe this will fix all of our resource path issues via gulp start.

Looks generally good to me, r+ although I you and jsantell are talking on IRC about this. Haven't thought too much about the implications, so we just need to decide one way or the other.

I'm going to hold off on this change since things are pretty much working as-is and I don't want to break things. There's something funny with trying to load the inspector on itself now, but I'm not sure when that stopped working (reverting 6d79aee doesn't seem to help).
