Yep! This is exactly the same feature request. This was first discussed in the following thread

I have no timeline when I can add this, but it's still planned.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, @jocmp.

I think a rudimentary audio player within the app would be great. For me it covers the same need as watching a YouTube video in-app.

At least, Capy Reader could at least display the link to listen the podcast?

For instance, I subscribed to https://podcast.projets-libres.org/@projetslibres/feed.xml (podcast).

This RSS gives direct access to mp3's but the link does not appear in the UI, unlike within Feeder (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nononsenseapps.feeder).
