The Reading Group at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China provides an opportunity for students, researchers and faculties to discuss and keep eyes on the current progress in security and system research, and to learn how to do high-quality research.
Consider to propose the regular research papers from the top conferences in the recent years:
- Security Big 4: CCS, S&P. Security, and NDSS.
- Generic Systems: OSDI, SOSP, ATC, and EuroSys.
- Storage Systems: FAST.
Currently, we focus on blockchain and storage systems. The primary goal of our discussion is to understand what the paper says. With that in mind, the presenter should address the following points.
- Structure your presentation in slides, and guide the discussion through (i) what is the problem to be solved? (ii) what are the key ideas/insights/techniques used to address the problem? and (iii) How do the authors justify their design?
- Present your selected paper in a concise and understandable way. The time limit is 30 minutes.
