This plugin is a toolbar plugin. It has three buttons AG (Add Guide Lines) and HD (Hide Guide Lines)
Click the AG button to start making guide lines. When finished adding the guide lines, click the AG button again. The guide lines can also be deleted. Just click the AG button to go into "Add Guide Lines" mode and delete the unwanted lines.
Also consider adding a keyboard shortcut to the "Add Guide Lines" button.
