Description

Media player displays only a blackscreen. Using the terminal to open shows the following 4 errors repeated until closing the player.

[2:54:0428/052518.649262:ERROR:shared_image_stub.cc(470)] SharedImageStub: unable to create context
[2:54:0428/052518.649267:ERROR:gpu_channel.cc(449)] GpuChannel: Failed to create SharedImageStub
[2:54:0428/052518.649435:ERROR:gl_context_egl.cc(259)] eglCreateContext failed with error EGL_BAD_CONTEXT
[2:54:0428/052518.649440:ERROR:gpu_channel_manager.cc(753)] ContextResult::kFatalFailure: Failed to create shared context for virtualization

This is a wayland specific issue as the player runs fine in X11. Since Fedora 40 is moving to wayland only I tried a wayland session in fedora 39 and discovered the issue. The web player works fine so the media server is operating normally.

Kernel 6.8.7-200.fc39.x86_64
