Are you sure about the comma after "instead of"? Please note: English syntax rules are different from Russian.

E.g. see https://linguaholic.com/linguablog/comma-before-or-after-instead/#:~:text=To%20sum%2C%20we%20need%20not,positioning%20it%20at%20the%20end.
