issue with npm i and gulp

Two issues:
1. after running npm i, got the following error:

I then removed the line in the package.json:
"postinstall": "typings install",
Then reran npm i and it workd.

I'm not sure whether I'd have issues down the road by removing the line.

2. after running gulp, I got the following error. Haven't been able to resolve it.
