In this case it's because the Flipnote isn't being served with HTTPS; since the Flipnote Player site uses HTTPS, you can't load a HTTP URL since it would be a CORS violation.

I might just remove this feature since I think CORS will likely be too restrictive for it to work well anyway, and I can't see that many people using it?
