Hello,

I flashed my desktop with your firmware. Everything works but if the office down to the bottom, the relay remains active.

Is there a low position memory on your firmware?

From the factory, the position can be reset by pressing the 2 buttons for 10 sec.

Thanks for trying it out. Please help me to understand your use case.

The firmware stores two memory positions. By default they are

• 110 cm standing
• 70 cm sitting

1. If the desk is above 70 cm, and you press ▽ + △, it should move down until it stops automatically at 70 cm. Does this work as expected?
2. If the desk is at 70 cm, and you manually hold ▽, it should keep moving down while you are holding the button until it reaches the physical limit of 55 cm. Does this work as expected?

The firmware does not prevent you from manually moving the desk from 70 cm down to 55 cm where it reaches the physical limit.

Do you want another memory position below sitting, somewhere between 70 cm and 55 cm?

The automatic function works perfectly, I have memorized a low and high position. Thank you for your work, it's great to have an office that stops at the right place without press button.

But in manual mode, if I lower the desk all the way down, the relay remains active as long as I remain pressed ▽. I don't know if the engines are forcing?
On the original firmware, as soon as the desktop comes down, the relay is automatically cut off

OK Understood. I don't have this problem because I never do that with my desk. 🙂

I assumed that the actuator hardware has its own internal limits so the controller firmware doesn't need extra logic to stop at the physical min/max.

But you are right, it is probably a good idea to implement it because the OEM firmware has this feature. I will investigate the control signals while the desk is at its physical limits and see about adding a firmware stop at the min/max.

I don't know if there is a physical high end stop or if the feet could come out of the guide

I don't have the device to see the min and max values. But I can try to adapt your program by putting a fixed min value.
I think that after the flash, we should learn the low position by lowering the desk all the way down.
The high endstop would be a value fixed by default.

If problem, the 2 buttons ▽ + △ should be hold for 10 seconds to erase the lower position and the 2 preferred positions.
Block the rise of the desk to force the user to lower the desk all the way down so that the low endstop position is memorized

Hey, I just discovered this alternative firmware and started to use it. Thank you really much for your effort, I really appreciate it. Loving it so far, except this.So is there any update with this issue? I'm not liking that the motors still try to spin even the end is reached. Doesn't that also damage mechanics?
