Revert the commit from PR #279 as it causes problems with
metadata from the database.

This reverts commit f3fd0b1.

io la revisione la farei con un test d'integrazione reale con postgres.
Se possibile unirei il tuo commit in dev, per evitare poi di fare revert/push/reset su master in caso di guai
